Tall Girl Issue’s-Jeans (2 min read)

I’ll start of with I am 5’11…..

I honestly find it entertaining to go to clothing stores designed apparently not for my height and trying on jeans.  So one of two things or both that happens is that it immediately looks like I am expecting a flood with my ankles embracing the breeze.

So if its not good enough for me to look like Farmer John I also get this weird crotch thing.  Now let me tell you I know exactly what camel toe is and this is not what I am talking about.  Its like I get nerdthis awkwardly long crotch… My butt looks fine but apparently my hips are too far from thighs? lol I have no idea but regardless my point on this is my taller friends are always asking me where I have found my jeans all these years.

True Religion

These jeans have always gone/fallen exactly where they were intended to for every style they offer.  When I try other jeans I end up with straight legged capri’s and that is not what I am looking for.

For Example: The straight-leg goes all the way past my ankle, not slightly above it.

I will always make the investment as I have for the past 15 years.  I have some pairs that are over 7 years old.  Don’t get me wrong they’re pretty pricey but in the long rung they pay off ten fold and hold their value and quality.  Not to mention the most important fact that they’re the only jeans that I can wear that are flattering to my body type.

My Top 3 True Religion Picks

  1. The Skinny Jean
  2. The BootCut
  3. The Flare

It is okay for blokes to snicker and laugh about Dolly Parton… culturally celebrated in fact. Yet I have to be so damn at t the footy or on a tram about why I cannot squeeze my legs in or how I communicate the reality of being a bit more of an animal than most men… despite being better educated and with greater academic achievements. I guess the fact I have sacrificed for others offends those in nice society chasing a dollar too. If 10cc were around now the record label would only let them be called 4cc. Buying jeans used to be as simple as taking them off.

Physiology is physiology. Social conditioning cuts both ways. Those who aren’t overly impacted by it to make a lot of money in it. In 1989 when communism supposedly fell, capitalism exploded. Orwell was right.
